Mother's Day Party
Hi all!
We threw a little late party for Emilia (Jen's mother) as her Mother's Day gift this year!
We wanted to show you guys some pictures!
Between a memory card that became full too quickly and only one roll of film, we apologize for the limited amount of images!
I (Jen) became enamored with my family's faces and soon forgot to photograph anything besides them and the table ... hehe ... hope you will forgive me!
Enjoy the few pics we got and we hope you guys like our little setup!
We decided to isolate ourselves in the mountains, light some candles, make a fire, and spend all night sitting on our hay bales (bought off of KSL for a few bucks! A very good thrifty find!) as we listened to music and laughed!
The best part? Emilia loved it!
Which was the goal of the evening!
There is something so wonderful about being in nature with family and some marshmallows :)

We planned this party for a few weeks and took all the necessary decorations up with us to the mountains. Simple, but added a little uniqueness to our campground.
Lots of candles and glassware, you know we are suckers for them!
We hung up sheets and fabric to create more of a story, the large white sheet was used to project a movie onto as the evening turned to night!
My amazing and cute parents. They have done everything for my family and I could not be more grateful. They are the epitome of sacrifice, love, and being passionate about life. They always taught me that I am strong, beautiful, and can do anything I set my mind to! They taught me to never allow anyone to defile the hard work I have put into my life and that as a woman I am unique and loved. All the things I stand for have sprouted from them. Thanks mom and dad for believing in me and allowing me to break barriers and cultural beliefs of what a woman is or isn't!
