DIY Dog Treats
Happy Tuesday all!
Today we bring you a simple DIY that will make your doggies happy and loved!
This is a 3 ingredient recipe! It is simple, quick, healthy, and our dog cannot get enough!
Here’s what you will need:
½ cup all natural peanut butter
1 ½ cups of oats
1 banana
Some parchment paper
Bone shaped cookie cutter: not a necessity, but look how adorable it makes these treats!
Here’s what you’ll do:
Preheat oven to 350°.
Using a NutriBullet and milling blade (or a food processor), grind the oats into a fine flour and set aside.
Using a stand mixer (or hand held mixer), combine banana and peanut butter until smooth. Add in ground oats, reserving 1-2 tbsp. Combine together.
Using the oat flour you set aside, sprinkle your work surface and the dough and roll out. I rolled my dough out ¼ of an inch thick, but you can play around with the size of your treats. I used my small bone shaped cookie cutter and made little bones. I made 15 little bone treats.
I placed my bone treats on my sheet pan lined with parchment and poked holes in the dough using a fork.
Bake 10-15 minutes. Baking time will vary depending on your oven. I ended up baking mine for 10 minutes and checking on them carefully after that until they were lightly golden and dry.
Our doggo Ruca loved these treats!
