Home Decor Using Easter Eggs

Home Decor Using Easter Eggs

Happy Tuesday all!

Today we are going to share a super simple way to create a decoration piece for your home!

We are still on an Easter high and so we are keeping our cute bunny decorations up, our bunny wreath on our door, and eating from cute egg shaped plates (thanks Target dollar section!).

This DIY is so terribly simple, yet so unique!
And funny side note, as we prepped and executed this DIY, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong! Hehe.
I accidentally broke half of the eggs before I even started the project, the cute video we wanted to make I filmed out of focus… oops, and Ruca (our doggie) jumped on the bed where I placed our decoration as I was photographing and broke the remaining eggs.

All I can say to this is HAHAHA! Thank goodness it’s but a small setback.

So thankfully I was able to snap a few pictures before everything went to heck and this can be a reminder to all of you out there who think the world has got it out for you … you’re not alone! ;)

All we can do is keep trying and sending good vibes out!

So now that the cheesiness is over, let’s get into it!

What you will need:

  • A piece of wood. I bought mine at Lowe’s, sanded it and stained it a dark brown. It is very thin and about 14 inches long.

  • Glue gun and glue sticks

  • Easter eggs! I used the ones we naturally dyed last week with fruits and vegetables. You could use plastic ones or eggs of all different sizes.

Instructions:

  1. All you do is glue your eggs to your wood! That’s it! That easy! We glued ours in a straight line because we are both a little OCD.

Other fun tips:

  • You could create a few of these and use them as a centerpiece for your table.

  • Use different sizes and colors of eggs.

  • Glue your eggs to floral foam to create fun shapes.

  • Glue them on a wreath! They have wreaths at the dollar store.

  • Glue them to a bird’s nest! They also have bird’s nests at the dollar store!

The ideas are endless!
Let us know if you tried this DIY and if you added your own spin to it!
