The Love Hotel
Sometimes planning date night can be stressful!
Coming up with ideas is hard and sometimes executing them seems harder.
This month, Tyler and I put together a really fun date we have titled The Love Hotel!
This is great for couples who are looking for a fun, cheap date!
Tyler and I love traveling! We love going to new places, meeting new people, trying new foods, and getting away from everything!
Sometimes we can’t travel as often as we would love to because we can’t take work off or we don’t have the money, etc.
That’s why we came up with this fun and cute idea.
Creating a fun getaway experience right in your home!
So if you have kids, this is a great time to send them over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for a night! That way you can spend some quality time with your loved one!
Our date does require a little preparation, but not a lot.
We have done most of the work for you, but you will need to come up with some of the ideas :)
First, think about what you and your loved one would like to get out of this experience.
Are you wanting to surprise your wife with a fun “spa” inspired date?
Are you wanting to spend some quality time cuddling and watching some movies with your husband?
I (Jen) decided to plan this for Ty as a surprise and so I picked things that I knew he would love to do! I also wanted to add some relaxing spa time for myself in there hehe!
After you have brainstormed some ideas on what you want to do for your weekend, you can now make some more deliberate plans for The Love Hotel.

Fill out the “Activities” and “Menu” cards.
Since Tyler and I love being out in nature, I planned a fun sledding activity for the both of us!
In turn, I decided it would be fun to get lunch in Park City to treat my boo!
Keep in mind that you do not have to spend a lot of money on this date; I just wanted to splurge on one of our meals.
Outlining activities and a menu helps the weekend have some order and it allows for you and your loved one to relax even more!
I packed everything we would need, made our meals, and prepared our snack ahead of time.
I am a little over the top when it comes to planning, so you do not have to be so elaborate hehe.
I just have a tendency of planning everything ahead of time so that I can enjoy more time with Tyler!
The most exciting part of this date is that you can come up with fun activities to do in the comfort of your home! For the “spa” experience I planned for Tyler and I, I bought a few bath bombs, plugged in our diffuser with lavender, and set out some bubbly and chocolate!
It can be just as relaxing and fun as being in a hotel, but for a fraction of the price!
So get creative!
Make a fun, magical date experience for your loved one and enjoy some time together!
We turned off our phones, wore bathrobes, and treated each other to a romantic night!
